Computer Network Specialist
TARRYTOWN, NY
Design, set up, and configure local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) based on organizational needs. Install and integrate new server hardware and applications, ensuring network connectivity of all workstations. Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future. Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data transmitted and stored across the network. Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. Diagnose hardware and software problems and replace defective components. Provide technical support to end-users, addressing any network-related issues that arise.
